Here are several tips for use.

Underarm stains & ring around the collar  

-Switch to alcohol-free deodorants with a natural pH.  Avoid acidic solutions of aluminum chloride.

-Allow deodorant to dry before dressing

-Consider underarms guards for delicate garments.

-As soon as garment is removed spray collar and underarm areas with SHOUT pre-treatment spray.  It can sit for days before cleaning. 

Brighten White or Refresh Black - how to bring your clothes back!

Assuming the garments are machine washable, follow these tips to restore original color.

-Restore white clothing by soaking in lukewarm water for 24 hours, then rinse with 1 tablespoon white vinegar to 1 quart water.

- Be sure your water is soften as this contributes to graying and residue on clothing.

-Restore black clothing by adding bluing or 2 cups of strong black coffee or tea to your rinse cycle.

-Use 2 or more dryer sheets to ensure a fresh scent.

-To prevent future fading, remember to wash in cold water, with Ivory Flakes, and only a small amount of detergent.

-Once wax has dried to the fabric apply an ice cube or ice pack to the area for several minutes to make it brittle.  Then use butter knife to scrap off excess.

-Heat iron to medium or medium-high.  Use two paper bags to place under and over the wax stain. 

-Gently iron the area to till wax is transferred.  Repeat with new paper bag if needed till wax is removed. 

-If the wax was from a colored candle pre-treat the stain as soon as possible.

-Launder as directed.

Red, Red Wine?

Do not whine of spilled red wine. Try this simple tip to remove this stubborn stain from table cloths, seat cushions and carpeting:




-
Pour straight white vinegar over stain (enough to cover the stain). Do not add salt or seltzer.
-If the spill is on a table cloth or napkin, put a bowl under the stained area of the fabric and pour vinegar over stain into bowl.
-Repeat once dried if necessary. Launder as directed.
-This tip works best on fresh stains. If your stain has not been fully removed once laundered, let the professionals at One Stop Cleaners finish the job!

The Grass is Greener?"

Warm weather means greener grass and inevitably grass stained clothing!

     Using a pre-wash stain remover spray (or solution of 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water) treat the

     area and wait 15 min.
     With a toothbrush tap area to work liquid through the fabric.
     Finish with a cold wash in an enzyme based detergent (in most standard detergents) which will further break

     down the proteins in the garment.

Keep Those Expensive Sneakers Looking Like New:

Skip buying pricey shoe cleaners and try this method instead for about $1.00.

     Bang off any excess dried dirt.

     In large bowl combine 1/3 cup of ammonia tp 3/4 hot water. 

     Use an old toothbrush or scrub brush to scrub the sneaker and sole.

     Wipe off excess liquid with dry terrycloth towel and put outside to dry with a dry sheet tucked inside each shoe.

     Machine wash laces in a small laundry bag (bleaching if white).

 Crayon Stains

     1) Put a folded white paper towel under garment and spray WD-40 on clean white towel and dab both sides of stain

     2) With your finger, rub dishwashing detergent onto stain; let paper towel absorb crayon stain

     3)When stain has disappeared, launder as usual.
